There is now an application for planning permission for the site to the south of Samuel Street. "Lands adjacent to Smithfield Market and Millfield Dual Carriage Way, between Samuel Street and Smithfield Square North, Belfast BT13. Erection of 7-storey mixed use development containing 66 apartments and 685sqm of commercial space”. Samuel Street is on the right.
