Response (5 Feb 2024)

ASB in the parks (particularly Leighton Rec, Penleigh Skate Park, Town Park) and town centre (High Street and Edward Street) – this will increase as the evenings start to get lighter

There will be ongoing patrols of sighting groups in town area and Stop/Checks will occur when required - especially clamping down on illegal e-scooter usage.

This will continue for the foreseeable.

High value dwelling burglaries / Car Theft

Response (5 Feb 2024)

The local policing team are working in partnership with Dorset Police and the Rural Crime Team to increase patrols.

In recent weeks the crime series appears to have decreased, but ongoing crime prevention awareness and visits to victims and persons most at risk are still ongoing. This is including the use of Selecta DNA - we will continue to monitor.
