The blue bricks on the bridge are supplied by Joseph Hamblet in 1893.This stretch of the railway from Daventry to Leamington was opened in 1895.The line from Weedon to Daventry opened in 1888 and the blue brick supplier for that section was George Wood of Oldbury.Joseph Hamblet also supplied the bricks for the Great Central Railway in the area.
