This building partially houses the local primary school, although the plaque on the front reads 'Sandford's Charity School 1842'. As of spring 2006 this school only had 69 pupils on roll, and South Gloucester LEA are considering amalgamating it with another local primary (Pilning or Severn Beach), and closing this site down.
