An African Snake Eagle has his neck rubbed by "mum". Raised by Stephanie Ford, he is used to being handled. Seen at Huxley's Birds of Prey Centre, Horsham. Note the short tail feathers, enabling the eagle to walk backwards, if necessary, during an encounter with a snake. http://www.flyingfalcons.co.uk/huxleys/Homepageindex.html
