Blink and you'll miss it. Unless you stop and read the licensing notice next to the entrance, or notice the weather-beaten pub sign, half-hidden in the hedge, you could easily miss this pub. It sells a range of beers, both traditional and otherwise, but is closed Mondays. Image Years ago there were two other pubs in the small hamlet of Menithwood. The Fox and Goose in Fox Lane closed long ago in 1907, when it became a private house. The Bird in Hand survived a bit longer, but that is now long gone too.
