A small stream rising near Chequers Mead, a short distance up the hill, carves a valley in miniature between the trees. A number of trees have fallen or are leaning against each other at crazy angles - the trunk of one such tree is just visible in the top left corner of the photo. The bright sunshine through the fresh canopy of leaves casts an eerie green glow.
