The Rose Garden of the Convent of Mercy is open to the public during the summer. It is laid out with pergolas in the shape of a St Andrew's Cross. This is the north-eastern pergola seen from the crossing. The garden isn't yet at its best, because it is too early for the roses to be in flower.
