When driving through Burton Green, it isn't apparent that you are on a hill, but walk out into the fields by Lodge Farm and you are suddenly presented with this impressive distant view of the University and the city beyond. The ground level at Lodge Farm is actually about 40 metres above the University according to the OS map.
