Railway station on the Alton-Waterloo line. The buses in the background are in the main car park for the station on the Running Day 2010 for the local Aldershot & District vintage buses. The line did connect, beyond Alton, with Winchester in British Railway days - but today the gap is almost filled by vintage diesel and steam trains on the Watercress Line from Alton to Alresford.
