The Saxon Shore Way leads through this boatyard on its way from the centre of Faversham to The Swale and eventually Seasalter. There is usually a lot of activity in the boatyard and a number of old railway carriages have been pressed into service for storage. These ones have a particularly attractive cottage-style garden in front of them. The mast of one of the old Thames sailing barges appears over the right hand carriage.
