This co-operative supermarket is on the corner of Bridlington Street and Hungate Lane. The building was once a fine looking Wesleyan Chapel http://www.hunmanby.com/chap6.jpg although at first glance that is difficult to believe. The chapel's brickwork, and stone windows and detailing have been overpainted in white, and the distinctive tower and porch have been demolished at the point where the entrance is today.
