This is Foster General Purpose Traction Engine number 2775 named Jane registration FW 3333 built in 1903. It was owned and kept near to Eckington and was regularly seen on local roads in the early 1970s. The driver and his mate totally ignored me as I repeatedly overtook them on my bicycle for several photo opportunities over about 3 miles! Note the coal tip in the background adjacent to Renishaw Park Colliery. See Image for a similar view in 2013.
