Light and shade at the south-eastern end of Hammersmith (District Line) Station. Directly above is a large office block and the bridge beyond carries the A219 and, above that, the A4 dual carriageway on Hammersmith Flyover. Beyond the bridge, the tracks curve sharply round to the east towards Barons Court Station - Note the red sign on the left hand retaining wall requiring drivers to whistle on this blind corner. The centre tracks are the Piccadilly Line, whilst those flanking them are the District Line. The points allow transfers between both lines and also give access to a central siding for reversing trains.
