Ordnance Survey cut mark benchmark on National School dating from 1837. The mark was verified in 1967 at 51.5325m above Newlyn datum, although is evidently older shown on the 1901 map at 169.5 ft. More information on this and neighbouring benchmarks at http://www.bench-marks.org.uk/bm33837.
