There is a wide variety of designs and ages of houses along the several kilometre length of Malpas Road, which runs from Crindau near the city centre, to the edge of Cwmbran. These, a detached house and some semis, are on the east side of the road, between the Almond Drive junction and the Pillmawr Road junction.
