A poet has described Afon Wen thus "Mân ei dai a mawr ei olchdy" (small its houses and large its laundry). Passing the laundry where a group of workers were outside enjoying a break in the sun, I thought that is funny sounding Welsh, until it dawned on me that they were Slavic speakers. The company employs 160 people. http://afonwenlaundry.com/
