The Lamb, Old Town

Possibly one of the oldest pubs in the country. Established in 1126 and closely associated with St Mary's Church nearby. There is an old well in the building. Allegedly a passage connects the pub and the church. Owned by Harveys of Lewes, serving excellent beer.
