A community leisure centre by Faulkner Browns Architects, opened in May 2007. It has three elements; a central zone (foyer, fitness, refreshment and viewing areas) together with the swimming pool and sports facilities on either side. Winner of the 2009 Hadrian Awards for excellence in north-east architecture.
