Fire on Mynydd Carn-goch

The second major conflagration on this relatively small area of open ground, largely burning pretty much everything that the last one, about a month or so ago didn't consume. In the distance, one of the local landmarks that can be seen for many miles around, the 3M tank above the 3M factory (which once made Scotch video tapes - with the skeleton advertising campaign "record again not fade away"). I used to call this "The Tripod" as we passed it on the M4 when I was younger!
