Reports were received from the local community of drug dealing in and around the Westminster estate.

Response (1 Nov 2025)

Acting on this community intelligence, officers executed a warrant at a local address. Inside the address they discovered; 240 snap bags of crack cocaine, with a street values of £2,000, weighing scales and a machete in its sheath.

Three men were arrested and brought before Chester Crown court where they received the following sentences:
Kian Burgess, 19 (King Street, Ellesmere Port) - 3 years in prison.
Ben Rennix, 19 (King Street, Ellesmere Port) - 21 months in prison.
Joshua Voice, 18 (no fixed address) - 26 months in prison.
Thanks to community reports, dangerous drugs and weapons have been removed from our streets.

Numerous reports of the use of off road bikes and e-bikes being used in an anti social manner across Ellesmere Port.

Beat Management, alongside Motorcycle Operations and the Roads Crime Unit, deployed under Operation Lawmaker in Ellesmere Port. This was part of our ongoing commitment to tackling the illegal and dangerous use of off-road motor vehicles and non-road legal bikes.
Listening to local concerns, officers targeted hotspot areas with support from the National Police Air Service, resulting in:
9 vehicles seized
3 vehicles prohibited for being in a dangerous condition
Multiple arrests, including: A male arrested for possession of a bladed article and being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. Another male arrested for drug-driving (cocaine).

Residents reported unusual comings and goings at a property in Alexandra Street, on the Westminster estate

Officers carried out targeted enquiries at the property in question, where they located a fully functioning cannabis farm. Your reports resulted in:
Cannabis farm discovered and dismantled, with all of the plants and growing equipment being safely removed.
Over £100,000 worth of drugs were seized, preventing them from reaching the streets.
Dangerous electrical setups were made safe, reducing significant fire risk to nearby homes.
Criminal exploitation disrupted, removing a harmful operation from the community.
