Looking towards West Bridgford and the Davies Road junction after emerging from the canal towpath under bridge number 4A. To continue along the canal you have to follow this footpath in the middle of the dual carriageway and cross the road where the lamp standard is. This is because Bridge 4, to my right, was constructed during the dual-ling of Radcliffe Road with scant regard for future use of the waterway.
