The Base of the old signal box at North Elmham station. Being only a small one the box was done away with under BR with their gradual running down of the railway. All the signals were no longer needed when closure to Fakenham came, most of the signal boxes fell to the axe. The only original left being Yaxham (although Dereham North survives as a garden studio). The trackbed here is private, I was on a supervised walking event.
