The old college building (formerly the HQ of the North British Locomotive Company) is to the left, the shiny new one is to the right. The architect has employed similar pitched roof features in the new building as can be seen in the old. The old NBLC drawing office on the top floor was famed for its north facing natural lighting conditions.
