I read somewhere what was the original name of this art-deco hotel on Westover Road, but cannot remember where that was, or what it was called. It now belongs to the Premier Inn group (a subsidiary of Whitbread; the once infamous brewery company that no longer owns a single brewery). I have no doubt that all traces of the original interior have gone, however the wonderful exterior remains. This was taken from the small park opposite, hence the branches, spoiling the view.
