A style of postbox designed to be affixed to a lamppost or telegraph pole, but seen here set into a wall on the corner of Church Lane. It has a rather damaged hood and is emptied finally at 4:15pm on weekdays and at 8:15am on Saturdays. Below it, we see an old sluice valve marker.
