Grand Union Canal (formerly the Warwick and Napton Canal). There are two locks near Long Itchington, which really continue the descent from the eight in the Stockton flight. The concrete walkway on the far side of the lock is where the adjacent original narrow lock used to be. This lock lowers (or raises) the water by 6ft 7in (two metres).
