This footbridge carries the Footpath from Mill Way to Hale Grove Gardens over the M1 Motorway and the St. Pancras to Leicester railway line. This photo shows the western half of the bridge which is above the railway. As built, the bridge had open railings as seen in the distance but, as part of the electrification work for the London-Bedford suburban services, the sections above the 25Kv overhead wires were given solid sides. Beyond, the footpath descends to connect with Hale Grove Gardens.
