The viaduct known as Godley Arches take the Glossop to Manchester railway line over the A57. This view is from the end of Station Road which led to the original Godley Junction station. A new station, just named Godley opened in 1986 on the other side of the viaduct. The shelters of the platform can be seen here. Godley Junction was renamed Godley East and was closed in 1995.
