Beautiful arcade between Old Christchurch Road and Gervis Place. According to a blue plaque visible in Image it was built as two rows of shops in 1866 by Henry Joy and the roof added above first floor level in 1872. The shop buildings have a second floor which can be glimpsed through the glass (but not in this picture).
