The road leads from the B2027 Tonbridge Road towards Kilnhouse Farm and the Bough Beech Visitor Centre before carrying on. A footpath heads right over a stile towards an unnamed lane near the cottage called Hickens. The path on the left heads through Damper's Wood towards the Bough Beech Reservoir and a sailing club.
