The grid reference is thirdhand and probably via the notes of a long deceased friend. The woodyard/sawmill is no longer listed but there is a Susan Henderson living in a Sawmill Cottage at Slaley (address/postcode not known). The woodyard was not on the national grid and had two diesel generators. This big Marshall portable steam engine was ex MOD and was workable. The plan was to belt it up to an alternator but I'm not sure this ever happened. Its current whereabouts are unknown.
