The track in the picture is (obviously) not the road to the farm. This track does not appear on any old maps going back to 1860 onwards therefore I'm unsure when it was ever in use. There are a few small spoil heaps either side of the track so perhaps it was actually a mineral railway although again this is not on any maps. The actual road to the farm is just to the south of where the picture was taken.
