The former Independent Chapel and Sunday School. Built 1825 and rebuilt 1874. There seem to be a short span of time between building and rebuilding, which could suggest that not enough was done to make it structurally sound, or that it soon became unfit for purpose - a large increase in population and worshippers. The plot on this side of the building is a burial ground.
