A listed Elizabethan pub and restaurant which serves a selection of real ales. The pub-explorer.com web site mentions musicians' jam sessions here on alternate Sundays. Also live music on Fridays and live music/cabaret on Saturdays indicate this may not be the place to moor if you fancy a quiet pint later. Note July 2016: closed for business.
