This Dunchurch Road pub has had a chequered history - for the last thirty years it has been isolated from the town centre by Russelsheim Way, part of the gyratory system. A few years ago it looked as though it had closed for good but, in a turnround bucking the general trend, it has now been reinvented as a real ale pub and appears to be going from strength to strength, winning various CAMRA awards.
