Gorse in full bloom on the cliffs below Caldy Golf Links. Tons of limestone rocks from North Wales have been placed at the base of the cliffs to prevent further erosion of the clay cliffs by the action of the sea. Hilbre Island can just be seen in the distance beyond the mud flats of the Dee estuary.
