Abbott's Hall farm is maintained by the Essex Wildlife Trust http://www.essexwt.org.uk as a showpiece of conservation on farmland. It also is one of the first coastal farms to have accepted managed retreat as a means of combating coastal erosion and rising sea levels. This information board tells visitors about the scheme and other matters.
