One of three milestones that have been erected along the old road from Omagh to Dungannon, via Carrickmore by the Termonmaguirc Historical Society. They were manufactured by McGowans from Dromore in County Tyrone and have been placed along the old coach road, to replace ancient stones which were removed. An Irish mile is one and three quarters an English mile. This one reading Omagh 10 - Dungannon 10 and is located on the Termon Road, where the three townlands of Sluggan, Termohue and Aughaneria meet - see Image]
