Gt. Yarmouth South Town to St. Olaves railway - Belton

All that remains of the Belton & Burgh railway station in Station Road South is the sign for platform 3. For a wider view of this location see > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1664524. From here, the line ran the length of what is now the driveway to Wild Duck (Haven) > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1664361 - cutting through the centre of the holiday park. Where the metalled driveway turns around a bend just before passing the site office > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1664441 a tree-lined path leading past the Alder Carr > http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1664436 - http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1664431 follows the old trackbed from there. A short distance further to the west the path crosses a road within the park and continues along a gravel path on the other side. Passing caravan holiday homes, the path leads to a gate in the security fence which surrounds the holiday park. The gate is unlocked during daytime hours. The path crosses Marsh Lane which skirts the perimeter fence of the park and a gate on the other side of the lane gives access to the adjoining pastureland called The Heathland. Still following the course of the railway, the path ends by the golf course at Caldecott Hall, further to the south-west. There is no public right of way from there onwards.
