This very 'hairy' hairpin bend was another reason that the Batchelors Factory, down the hill to the right, closed - see Image As the lorries got bigger so access got harder. At this point Hagg Hill becomes Midhurst Road and leads up to Birley Edge where some fantastic views over Sheffield can be had. A number of these views can be seen on Geograph e.g. Image
