For my 4,000th photo I thought I would use a well known local landmark "Sykeside Country House Hotel is a privately owned, family run hotel found directly in the centre of the Rossendale valley. The hotel itself is set within a late 19th century building, and has been home to a number of important people including the late composer Alan Rawsthorne." http://www.sykesidecountryhousehotel.co.uk/
