Tudor Way runs between Winchmore Hill Road and The Bourne. The Driving Test Centre used to be situated on the left, and was where I took my driving test in 1968. This is long gone, as has the Odeon Cinema which used to be on the site of the building with a tower at the end of the road. When the cinema was demolished the new building on the site was the same shape, hence the tower. The Quick Fit car exhaust and tyre centre used to be on the site to the left of the image, but was replaced a few years ago by a smart apartment block with a bathroom showroom on the ground floor.
