Corner shop, Winnersh

Located in Reading Road, not quite on the corner of Arbor Lane. Winnersh was my home village from 1961. Until the other day, I hadn't been back since my parents moved away in 1987. An awful lot has changed in the last 20 years or so - in particular, many individual houses have been demolished and replaced with at least two new houses occupying the same space. (See Image). Here is the shop I knew as Farley Stores, looking a little brighter than it did, but if my memory serves correctly, occupying the identical premises as it did in 1961. It even looks like the owner still lives in the bungalow behind the shop. I don't think it will be the same old lady who I knew...
