Looking across the lake to the Amphitheatre (see Image), with an imposing Cedar tree to the left, considered to be one of the finest in the UK. The photo was taken on a cold New Year's Day morning, with a light dusting of snow on part of the surrounding grass. The tracks are of pushchairs, a common feature of the gardens!
