This gable end wall on the terraced housing in Baker Street bears the faded remains of a painted sign. I believe the top line to be a name, possibly Hexter. The second line is illegible. The third line could say 'house agent' and the bottom line is Gandy St. Exeter. Geograph member Mrs Albion has offered the following information - 'Kelly's Directory for 1914 lists a Percy Hexler at 28 Gandy Street, Exeter under the category of Auctioneers'.
