This group of horse, two of them not even needing blankets to keep off the chill, were enjoying their Christmas dinner "al fresco" with the occasional little run around. The snow (about an inch or so) fell a week before and stayed on ground almost permanently frozen since then. The housing is in Dewsbury Drive, Penn. Christmas Day 2009, 12:06 GMT, sunny, cloudless, 2 degrees C.
