Much Wenlock: Bastard Hall

A fine, 15th-century house in Sheinton Street, most recently used as a guest house but currently up for sale. Its now slightly amusing name derives from Richard de Bastard, who owned, in the 13th century, the house which this one replaced after a fire destroyed it.
