A commuter walks across the zebra crossings at the junction of Highgate High Street and South Grove. Two 271 buses wait at the northern terminus of the route which goes to Finsbury Square and is extended at weekends to Liverpool Street Station. The vehicles are Dennis Trident's with Plaxton President bodywork. The Christmas lights add a degree of warmth to an otherwise damp and dreary North London evening.
