Looking towards the junction with Dyke Road. Snow began falling in Brighton on Thursday evening but did not settle in earnest until gone 11pm and continued throughout the night eventually stopping around 8.30am. This was taken at 7.40am when traffic was very light and the best place for pedestrians to walk was on the more compacted snow on the road rather than slog through the ankle deep snow on the pavement.
